Transcript of video

Has there been an increase or decease of opium addicts in Afghanistan?

There’s been an increase.

Can the opium problem in Afg be controlled?

If they want to, yes. If they don’t want to, no.

The police, especially anti-narcotics, are trying to control the problem. Do you think that’s possible?

These anti-narcotic police are opium addicts themselves. If they’re given some money, they’ll do anything.

Have you quit your opium addiction?

Yes, I’ve quit.

Be at peace. I wish you success & am confident you’ll overcome.

Inshallah….thanks ( be alive & well )…

Afg is the greatest supplier of both opium & hashish in the world

Opium sales is a remarkable 53% of Afghanistan’s GDP

12 to 41 % of Afghan police recruits in regional training centers have tested positive for illicit drugs
